Simply soak the IMCOOLNOW product in water for at least 5 minutes, longer is ok. Then take the product out of the water allow it to dry 10 to 30 minutes. (Note if you put it on wet you are going to feel like a wet noodle) In the extreme conditions, such as in the Utah Desert, most outdoor workers put their products in an ice cooler with ice and water in it in the morning before they go to work. Then as the day gets hotter, they take their IMCOOLNOW products out of the cooler and allow them to dry for 5 or 10 minutes before using. In temperatures of 100-degree heat or more the hats work up to 2 hours, the bandanas cool up to 3 hours and the vest cool up to 6 hours. However, at any time you can re-submerge the IMCOOLNOW product in water for about 1-3 minutes allow to dry for 5 to 10 minutes and go back to work, cool again.

This product is extremely comfortable; it has a Nylon water repellant inside liner in which will help keep you dry.
